March 7, 2022 FSP keeps it local for latest project

FSP has kept its latest project local as it supported the contractors responsible for sprucing up the Southwater area of Telford town centre recently, in preparation of the lifting of lockdown restrictions in April.

The work, which was carried out by G N Groundworks on behalf of Balfour Beatty, involved replacing the pavement that runs through the middle of the dining and entertainment district.

The team took advantage of the quieter crowds in the run up to the easing of the resrtrictions in order to complete the work ready for non-essential retail and outdoor dining opening for business again.

G N Groundworks opted to use our FAB PAVE S10 FACTA D plain seated covers. The FACTA D rating means it is ideal for heavy duty areas and is capable of withstanding vehicles weighing up 11 tonnes.

FAB PAVE is our flagship range of recessed covers, all of which are manufactured in our Telford site. In fact, the Southwater site at Telford town centre is less than two and a half miles away from our head office and manufacturing site in Madeley — we really did keep it local this time!
