March 7, 2022 Industrial manufacturing site selects FSP products

FSP has been selected to supply its fabricated landing platforms as part of an extension to the IAE operations site in Adderley Green, Stoke-on-Trent.

The new industrial building, which will house ancillary facilities such as a canteen, offices and a learning centre, will host a production unit and separate powder coating plant to fulfil the organisation’s agricultural, equestrian and fencing product manufacturing.

The new building will measure more than 185,000 sq. ft. and will be adjacent to the existing IAE Mossfield Road site. This new site will mean IAE can consolidate its operations into one site and removes the need to transport products between sites for final powder coating.

Contractors BlueEarth Construction Ltd selected FSP’s range of landing platforms, which are CE marked to BS EN1090 standard, for the project. This certification ensures they can manage the specified load required.

Our landing platforms and catwalks are suitable for manhole and tunnel shafts as an alternative to casting in a platform itself. They can be installed as part of the construction process or retrofitted.
