Our Approach Operating as an environmentally conscious business
We want to be at the forefront of carbon reporting and have proactively assessed our own operations.
FSP is not currently required to report our carbon emissions under the Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) framework, but we know how important it is now, and in the future, to our clients and customers.
Making a difference Proactively working to reduce our impact
FSP currently holds the ISO 14001 certification, the international standard for Environmental Management Systems, which supports efforts to reduce waste and energy consumption and limit environmental impact.
We have worked with Pro Enviro to develop our own CFAR reporting tool to capture, report and create action plans to reduce our footprint.

We have proactively assessed our Scope 1, 2 and several Scope 3 Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions.
In partnership with Pro Enviro and their Carbon Footprinting, Accounting and Reporting (CFAR) software we have quantified our carbon emissions, which allows us to pinpoint areas for carbon reduction and to plan our net zero carbon strategy.
ONSITE NITROGEN GENERATION
The precision laser cutting of steel products requires large amounts of nitrogen.
To make our operations more sustainable, we’ve swapped 40+ bulk deliveries of nitrogen a year for an onsite nitrogen generator – powered predominantly from on-site solar power – enabling us to generate a 100% of our Nitrogen gas requirements.
