March 7, 2022 Flagship Farringdon build opts for FAB TRAY™

A prominent office and retail development in central London has opted to use FSP access covers in the flagship scheme.

33 Charterhouse Street in Farringdon will provide 200,000 sq. ft of office and retail accommodation when completed in 2022. The eye-catching building, on the corner of Charterhouse Street and Farringdon Road, is close to Farringdon Station and opposite the future Museum of London site at Smithfield General Market.

We have supplied a range of our FAB TRAYTM access covers, rated to FACTA B and D, to construction engineering specialist Keltbray Ltd for the build.

FAB TRAY™ recessed access covers can be used for a wide range of internal and external applications, and we offer a wide array of products to accommodate different floor finishes.

Our hinged lift assisted FAB TRAY™ FACTA B covers can also be infilled, but allow for easier access into the chamber due to the incorporation of hinged points and lift assist.

These external covers are designed and manufactured to withstand heavy loadings when filled with C50 concrete and are ideal for use in forklift truck areas, dockyards and other heavy industrial environments.

Charterhouse Place, as it is also known, is the latest in a long line of high-profile infrastructure projects in the capital to use FSP projects including housing, hotels and office developments. You can read more here.
