Fabweld Steel Products is proud to be a recipient of the King’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development, one of the most prestigious honours a UK business can receive. The award recognises our long term commitment to operating responsibly, reducing environmental impact, and embedding sustainability at the heart of how we run and grow our business.
National Recognition
In 2025, Fabweld Steel Products was one of just 197 organisations nationally to receive a King’s Award for Enterprise, and one of only 27 companies recognised specifically for Sustainable Development. This distinction reflects independent assessment of our strategy, investment, and measurable progress in sustainability.
Why We Were Awarded
The King’s Award recognised our sustained investment in reducing emissions and improving efficiency across our operations. Key initiatives included large scale on site solar energy generation, on site nitrogen generation to reduce transport emissions, and a clear Net Zero Road Map guiding long term carbon reduction.
The award also acknowledged our responsible approach to procurement and product design, working with supply chain partners who have credible plans to support low and zero emission steel production, alongside continued investment in skills, training, and community engagement.
