March 7, 2022 Digital investment provides speedy solution for FSP
Fabweld Steel Products (FSP) has received grant funding to install fibre broadband at its premises in Telford and provide its own dedicated fibre broadband line.
The £19,808.50 investment from the Marches & Gloucestershire Business Broadband Grant Scheme will ensure FSP can access ‘Business Grade Broadband’ and significantly increase its Internet speeds.
Work is due to start in July by Posisoft Ltd and will be completed later this year.
Managing Director Richard Hilton said: “We are very pleased to have secured this funding that will allow us to considerably enhance the broadband connectivity we currently experience. It will provide office staff quicker access to external online resources, thus allowing for improved customer engagement.
“We have invested heavily in technology in recent years to allow us to digitise our design and manufacturing procedures and offer a more responsive service to our customers so this is another step in that process.”
The Marches & Gloucestershire Business Broadband Grant Scheme is a partnership between Fastershire, Connecting Shropshire and Superfast Telford, and is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
