March 7, 2022 FAB TOP™ range expands with new bespoke access cover

FSP has added a new multipart access cover to its flagship FAB TOP™ range. The FAB TOP™ S20 solid top cover, which provides access to manhole chambers, underground drainage and cable draw pits amongst other systems, is a bespoke product that can be made to specific customer requirements.

The FAB TOP™ S20 has been load tested up to and including FACTA D. It has a non-slip pattern top and a design scope up to 3000mm clear opening. Depending on the size, one frame can accommodate up to nine covers that aids the handling and once removed provides unhindered access to the chamber.

The S20 has the option of single or double neoprene seal to prevent odour egress and water ingress, along with flush fitting locking screws for additional security. It is manufactured from high-grade mild steel, hot dip galvanised to BS EN:ISO1461 and in accordance with either FACTA or EN124 load test requirements.

FSP Managing Director Richard Hilton said: “Unlike similar products on the market the FAB TOP™ S20 can be configured and manufactured in a three to four week timescale and within budget. It is an ideal alternative to cover large openings in slow moving traffic areas and can also be adapted to suit any modular chamber.”
