A flagship riverside development under construction in the North East has become the latest location to choose our recessed access covers, FAB TRAYTM.
Milburngate will provide high quality office, retail and leisure facilities and apartments on the banks of the River Wear in Durham when completed. The development includes 5,000 sqm of offices, 153 built-to-rent apartments, a 92-bed Premier Inn hotel and retail and leisure outlets.
We supplied 21 600x600mm FAB TRAY access covers to the main contractor Tolent. The covers are rated to FACTA D for slow moving articulated lorries (up to 11 ton / 108kN) and are designed to be infilled with material to match the chosen surface.
Our in-house design team tailored the design for this loading, which now comes with double neoprene seal to prevent odour egress and water ingress.

Our FAB TRAY™ range is made and tested to the FACTA standard and our internal units meet EN1253-Part 4. We can also supply to EN124 loadings on request.
