March 7, 2022 FSP makes a splash with headwall grille contract

FSP has been selected to provide integral steelworks for water management to a new housing development in Tunbridge Wells.

A number of our headwall grilles will be installed on the drainage outfall of water pipes across the Paddock Wood residential estate in Kent. The development, which was approved for construction in 2020, comprises of 300 new homes situated alongside countryside and open space.

The grilles are manufactured from mild steel and hot-dip galvanised, meeting ISO 1461 standards. FSP is able to manufacture headwall grilles to standard sizes to suit conventional pipework, as well as supplying bespoke size products for more custom installations.

Sales Manager, Chris Corbett, said: “Our range of headwall grilles are designed to comply with Sewers for Adoption 7th Edition and the Civil Engineering Specification for the Water Industry.

“These products fall alongside our wider water management product range, which includes trash screens, orifice and restrictor plates and penstock valves, which we know are integral to the overall safety and management of sites they are installed at.”
