March 7, 2022 FSP makes its mark at London station refurbishment

The £17.8m redevelopment of a London overground station used by more than a million people a year has become the latest in a long line of high profile city venues to use FSP drainage and access solutions.

We supplied 24 FAB PAVE™ sealed and lockable access covers to the Joseph Gallagher Group, a contractor working on the revamp of the White Hart Lane station in north London.

The covers give access to below ground services such as drainage whilst blending the floor’s paving with the overall surface. They are typically used in areas that demand a high quality finish.

The station is just a short walk from the newly opened £850m Tottenham Hotspur football ground and event venue, where more than 80 stainless steel FAB PAVE access covers have been used.

The project is being delivered by Taylor Woodrow and led by Transport for London.

The redevelopment includes a new station building with ticket hall and entrance and step-free access from street to platform.

Managing Director Richard Hilton said: “It is great to see FAB PAVE being the access cover of choice for such a prestige project.

“They are the perfect solution in areas of high footfall like train stations and we have supplied numerous football grounds, sporting venues and retail areas with FAB PAVE access covers.

“London is littered with FSP products – if you look carefully around Trafalgar Square and Tower Bridge you’ll find them, as well as at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, West Ham’s ground, Wembley, Wimbledon and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford to name just a few!”
