March 7, 2022 FSP in action at retail development
We have been lucky enough to get a glimpse behind the scenes at one of the biggest retail developments of its kind to check up on innovative FSP products that have been installed there.
Our FAB PAVETM S40 hinged and S20 sealed and locking both feature in the new McArthurGlen designer shopping outlet in Mill Green, Cannock, that is currently being built.
The S40 hinged covers are providing access to the mechanism that will drive water fountains in one of the village’s central plazas whilst our S20 access covers have been infilled with cobblestones as part of the surface material.
The hinged covers have a powered lift assist providing easier access into the chamber as there is no manual labour required to remove the cover from its frame. They include a neoprene seal to prevent odours and foul smells and have a mandatory locking system in place.
FAB PAVE™ is load tested unfilled in accordance with FACTA or EN124 specifications. The extensive range is manufactured as standard in galvanised mild steel but with options of galvanised mild steel to 140μm, stainless steel, powder coating and weathering steel (cor-ten®).
The range is ideal for locations like the retail village that demand a prestige but secure access solution, as they are sealed and lockable preventing unauthorised access.
The outlet village will house approximately 130 designer outlets units, new restaurants, a heritage trail and around 2,000 car parking spaces when it opens early next year. Drone footage of the development from the Express and Star can be seen here.
